A few steps must be taken in order to receive compensation from the implant manufacturers.  We have listed these below.

Step 1: Eligibility.

To be eligible for benefits for any of the implant benefits, one must have had breast implants placed in their body before June 1, 1993.  If such is the case, continue to the next step.  Also, this settlement does not apply to women who were considered a foreign claimant at the time of implantation.

Step 2: Identify the manufacturer(s).

Step 3:  Providing Acceptable Proof.

Step 4:  Review the Benefits.

Also, additional compensation such as Explant Benefits, Rupture Benefits, Gel-Claim Benefits (for raw materials), and an advance payment (not to be confused with an expedited payment) may be available to you under the proposed Dow settlement.
